Don't let the GF thing scare you off, this is great chicken. We had several sides and they were all good. I recommend the crispy potatoes. The white meat comes on a skewer. They seem to be doing take out only at the moment. Order early on the website.
Fantastic! Gonna go out on a limb and say this is the best fried chicken I've had in Seattle. That title may be up for debate, but the fsct that the style in which Chicken Supply prepares their birds is unique in the city- reminiscent to Korean fried chicken, but even crispier.
The sides are also delicious- the garlicky rice, marinated veggies, and garlic potatoes in particular. High recommend- and definitely put in your order ahead of time online. This place is popular and tiny. Their small staff was absolutely BUSTING it to get orders cleared, not to mention tending to order pickups and payment at the counter at the same time.
We got to experience The Chicken Supply for dinner last night, and we were thoroughly satisfied. The chicken was crunchy and moist in all the right spots. Normally a dark meat guy, I was really impressed with the chicken breast skewer; in fact, it might have been my favorite cut! The coconut collard greens were bomb and I've never had anything like them before.
The service was great too. Cooking and doing counter service has gotta be tough, but their crew knocked it out of the park. I really hope this sticks around/finds a long term home. They do good work and I suspect I'll be back soon!
I'm a fan of fried chicken & have tried a lot and "all..." the local places you are most likely familiar with. The Chicken Supply? The best fried chicken I've ever had. Ever. I've eaten there 5 times now, just to confirm. And I'm giving them 5 stars because they are #awesome. - sides? Good. Chicken? The best. - Bonus - its gluten free. Not that I worry. Its just an amazing treat for anyone, and an extra amazing treat for those who cant do gluten.
Definitely some of the tastiest fried chicken I’ve had in Seattle or anywhere if I’ll be honest. Skin was crunchy enough considering we did takeout. However, it was the flavor of the chicken that really sealed the deal. Whatever spice blend they used on the outside worked perfectly with the marinade that the meat bathed to create some absurd symphony of flavors in my mouth.
The garlic rice and beans/lentils was also fantastic. Love the light touches of fish sauce.
