Super cheesy!! Tons of combinations to pick from. Like a The Comfort Zone for Mac n cheese. I had the basic with broccoli.

Best soul food we've ever had! We came in at 3:45 on a Tuesday, the place was, empty but the service was wonderful. Portions, pricing, and quality of food were fantastic. Had the catfish sandwich, didn't have quite the earthy flavor catfish usually has, just excellent! Mac n' cheese was the best we've had too, must try! Family owned and you can taste the love; smile. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

I visited around 6:30pm on a Tuesday night. My friend and I were the only people there at that time. To be clear, The Comfort Zone is in the Royal Esquire Club. The club has a lot of tables to choose from. We heard that it gets livelier as the night goes on as well. It seems like it would a nice place to spend time with good friends. As time went on, more people arrived and musicians started setting up. We left before they started playing, but it probably would have been fun to hang around. As for the service, the young lady taking our orders and delivering our food was a wonderful host. It was a pleasure talking to her and her friendly personality made me feel welcome. My friend and I ordered the hush puppies and chicken wings to start. The chicken wings tasted great and were obviously just out of the fryer because they were piping hot. For the entrée, I ordered the fried catfish, mac n cheese, and rice and beans. The fried catfish and the mac n cheese were definite highlights. The catfish was not greasy and tasted fresh with no muddiness at all. The mac n cheese was delicious as well with a thick layer of cheddar on top. I would definitely go back to visit.
