Though in a weird location, the place has great sushi and is pretty fancy on the inside. They have tons of variety and are vegan friendly.
Everything was great: the atmosphere, music, art, and most importantly the food was amazing. I left wondering why I hadn't visited sooner and planning to visit again soon. Subdued adult atmosphere. Jazz. Amazing Japanese food.
Really a lovely place. Unpretentious in a warm atmosphere . The sushi is delicious, oh so fresh and well prepared. The people are friendly, unassuming, and they share their soul through the art , in the plates, in the air and on the walls. Away from the rush . We had a wonderful and memorable birthday celebration.
Celebrated my stepson's birthday here (at his request) this evening. Not much to look at from outside, but the atmosphere is very Seattle chic, and the sushi was a work of art. In addition to his role as master itamae, the chef is also a music lover with a fantastic selection of vinyl and an old school, top of the line music system. (If you're lucky he might spin a disk for you)
The sushi itself is outstanding; perfectly fresh and expertly prepared.
Great selection of sake to boot; definitely worth a stop.
Great atmosphere, service and food. I order three rolls from there menu, a little bit of everything to get a feel for it, and I wasn't disappointed. Will definitely be coming back to try for rolls!
