Boiling Point

What an incredible coffee shop! Starbucks took over the world and for a long time no one could compete -- but this place has Starbucks beat in every category except price. It's similarly expensive.

The selection and environment is way better though. I would choose Boiling Point any day over Starbucks, though I often have no choice since there's about an 8 mile difference for me. :-/

I really didn't like this place. The staff weren't rude. They could be more attentive. I didn't enjoy the food. It was too sweet and expensive. I will say though, I've yet to try a hot pot that I liked. They were busy so others do find it good. Either that or they had been drinking before coming here.

My first time & I think it was pretty cool. It's something different. Great atmosphere and great menu choices to choose from. The place gets busy pretty quick during lunch time so get there early. Down side is the place has limited seatings so you might end up waiting. As for the hot pot, it was good. It was kind of hard to adjust to the height of the hot pot once it's on the table. We had to squeeze in our drinks plus the sauce cup so it got pretty crowded. Overall, food was great, prices reasonable.

I liked it. I had to wait a little because it was packed so I recommend you make a reservation. I got the lamb soup (#5), green tea was pretty good, rice as a side and I choose the 'Hot' option for my soup but if you like spicy I would recommend trying the 'flaming' option which is one step hotter than what I got and the hottest. The reason I say that is because I didn't think mine was that hot. Made me wish I got the flaming. So if you like spicy I say go for the flaming.

The beef hot pot was very good. Lots of flavor and a variety of meats and vegetables. Medium was relatively spicy.
