Very nice waitress that helped with the menu and wine list. Food was served quick and hot. We where not rushed and asked if we left room for dessert. Even though the Superbowl was on ,the place was not crowded or noise. We will be back soon well worth the trip.
5 star service..... because of my friends kid having emergency at school, wound up having to order our food to go and the hostess was phenomenal... She got all the extras in bag that you could possibly want or need. I did order a sampler of chowders.... And I know that it was a sampler and the portion sizes weren't supposed to be huge or anything, but really basically 3 spoonfuls?. The clam chowder is very flavorful but I was a little disappointed in the lobster chowder. I'm from back East and I guess I just expected pieces of lobster in there even if they are using lagostinos. I got the appetizer of calamari and it was pretty good not overly greasy. Did not need all of the different sauces, one would have been fine. The little side salad these serve it with was actually very refreshing.
With love to go back there again during oyster season.... As that was really what I was wanting to order but they didn't have any... Guess I'll try when I return in March.
This place is amazing! Our waiter was so helpful in recommending plates, since it was our first time here. The food was delicious, and the Clam Chowder was delightful. We got the Crab and Shrimp gnocchi, which is more than enough to feed 2. But I didn't mind taking my leftovers and having them for breakfast. It has been by far the best gnocchi I have ever eaten!
Attentive service, good environment, good food. Some items are a bit pricey, but you will enjoy your meal. I've had Duke's before, but not at this location. Seems to be pretty consistent, though. Clam chowder is not the best in my opinion, but very decent, you'll like it. I've had tacos both times and I love how they get the flour tortilla semi-fried.
On 11/13/2019, I decided to go to Duke's Seafood & Chowder as a treat to myself after having been offered a new job. I was greeted kindly and immediately seated. My server, Lindsey, was very attentive and helped me by suggesting/described several dishes since it was my first time eating there. I ended up getting the bacon wrapped scallop linguine. It was absolutely delicious! I don't typically like cheese sauces, but definitely made an exception for this. Lindsey was even nice enough to recommend a second serving of bread (because I already ate one), so that I could sop up the remaining sauce. After finishing up my dish, she also asked if I wanted some dessert to end the evening. I chose the raspberry lemonade sorbet, which was perfectly sweet and tart. Both my meal and my service were exemplary. I definitely look forward to coming back.
