Family Pancake House Kitsap Way

The staff is always courteous and attentive, and the food is delicious. They also have the Impossible Burger, which is a big plus for our family. The salmon platter is always delicious and I love their salads. There’s something for everyone at Family Pancake House.

One of my favorite places to enjoy breakfast. The pecan and banana pancakes for my favorite. The bacon is always cooked just perfectly and fresh to order every time. The only drawback is that the experience is a bit pricey. A single person eating will run you $15 for most any dish.

Still a very nice place to dine. Good service and friendly people. New menus are good. Food quality is OK, better than before, but can still use work.

Pancakes are wonderful. Waffles are not. I really wish their waffle can be better. In fact, it's just a pancake with grill marks. NOT at all qualifies as waffles. But I guess that's why it's a pancake house not a waffle house...

They give discounts to hospital employees and veterans. I love the community aspects of this establishment...

Quality comfort food at a decent price. Not gourmet fare, but consistently good food. Pancakes are great, they still have corned beef hash, and they make great omelets. Want top notch meatloaf, or a nice pit ham or turkey dinner? This is the place. Super friendly staff, coffee is fresh, drinks stay full. You can generally tell a restaurant has good food and value by the number of older customers are there. From open to close, this is that kind of place.

My husband and i had dinner a couple of times at their branch in Wheaton Way, and were disappointed. So we tried the one on Kitsap Way, and we didn't make a mistake this time. As soon as we walked in, i felt a sense of home and family. The lighting was not harsh and in fact, was so cozy. I particularly loved their bulletin board which had lots of sweet notes from satisfied customers. I was so tempted to write on it, but couldn't find a sharpie around.
The staff were amazing. They were very sincere, it didn't seem as if they were just "doing the job." They were very attentive without being intrusive. I liked how they spoke in low, gentle tone, not loud and rankling.
We ordered the flatiron steak, and it was very juicy and fresh. The fries were served in a large heap, and we could definitely tell they weren't store bought, but "homemade."
All around us were customers who seem to be regular ones, and based on our experience, it wasn't a surprise.
We hate it when the staff would take their sweet time picking up our check, and in this branch, that didn't happen at all.
The atmosphere was filled with gaiety. I appreciated that very much.
I'd definitely come back for more of the experience my husband and I had.
