That One Place

Large portions of decent food. Didn't do a good job on following through on a promise (reserved their back room for a meeting and they had put somebody else back there by the time we arrived). We ended up sharing it but it was hard to talk over the top of the staff who were down there talking, laughing at top volume to each other while we were right there, clearly trying having our meeting.

There was great food and the food got there fast and did not take long at all. Our waitress was supper nice and speedy. There was also a nice man that gave me and my sister cars, twice. I LOVE this restaurant and I would come back any time.

Pretty straight forward review. This is one of a handful of restaurants in Port Orchard I would call destination dining, or places I'd suggest to folks in nearby cites to come just to eat at. The food is classic diner fare, prepared really well and consistently. The kitchen is pretty flexible for special considerations or tweaks to dishes. The wait staff is seems to be happy to be there, fun, fast and friendly. Price to portion ratio is great, I always leave overly full or with a takeout box.

The Desserts are amazing, either really eat light or stop by between meals. They have a number of fresh baked goods that you can get with ice cream on them or alone. My favorite was a suggestion of the wait staff and not on the menu. Deep Fried Cinnamon Roll Pieces with Caramel, Ice Cream, and Whipped Cream. Amazing!

Awesome local establishment. Great food. Excellent service. Eclectic atmosphere. I’d highly recommend this diner for a great meal. Their Half Waffle Sammie is a classic.
