Génesis churros y tamales

They have a great variety of Mexican street foods, decent prices for each items. Unfortunately, they were out of few ingredients for what I wanted to order. I ended up ordering the Mexican hotdog and Elote. However, for the Elote, they forgot the lime which one of the key ingredient.

Easily the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in years… no, decades! And I’ve eaten Mexican food all over the southwest and Mexico for many years. I never would have expected a small food truck type place to make such exceptional food! But they really need to open a restaurant, even if it’s very small. That little place doesn’t do them justice, nor attract as many people as they deserve. The food is a little more pricey than I’d expect, and the owner pushes a little too hard for you to buy more than you need. But it’s worth it if you like genuine Mexican food. But if you only like Taco Bell, you really shouldn’t bother. I like Taco Bell occasionally myself, but the food doesn’t even begin to compare.

It's food... I mean the owners are very friendly, personable and engaging but some of the food is pricey for what you get.
I got Tacos, corn in a cup, churros, and an horchata.

Tacos were good

Corn was fine

The Churos were mush on the inside.

The horchata was great.

Incredibly authentic, definitely worth the stop. Great people, great food, unassuming little spot
