Located in a historic building, the food is fresh and plentiful. The baked goods are delicious: breads, pies, crumbles. We went for lunch and the half-sized salad was plenty and came with a big slice of fresh bread. Free parking, good location, reasonable prices and good food make this a popular site.

I absolutely love this cafe! Everything I have ever had there was yummy! The staff is always delightful and the portions are very generous. The decor is adorable. They are famous for their pies and fresh baked honey oatmeal bread with honey butter. They have a wall full of “Lewis county’s best...” awards.

You seat yourself, which is unique and fun and you pay at the counter when you are done. Check the hours of operation before you go because they are not open in the evenings. (It’s a breakfast/lunch cafe, but I guess you could sneak in an early dinner.)

Pro tip: the soup and salad gets to your table super quick. If I’m extra hungry and don’t want to wait, I order the soup and salad. It comes with a chunk of the honey oatmeal bread, it’s quick, it’s hot, it’s healthy, and it is delicious!

Great service and the food was amazing! Portions were hearty and pricing is fair. Definitely have the french toast ????

Love this place; been going here for years! They are almost always packed, but the food is great, and service is efficient (minus the occasional kerfuffle in getting seated). They have giant salads and sandwiches, fresh soups and desserts; I like that they are somewhat creative with the sandwich menu.
