Dairy Dan Drive-In

On those days when my family stop at Dairy Dan Drive-In we are alway met at the drive up window by a person with a smile and who is friendly. Haven't tried the food yet but will someday soon. Prices are rather high but then that's pretty much how it is at all fast food places.

My family and I went to this cute little mom&pop shop because my husband has a lot of childhood memories from here. I applaud the struggle of the small business owner, however I feel like some things really could be worked on with Dairy Dans so hopefully it stays around. First, the wait time was terrible, we had to wait to make our order, then to have our order repeated and put into the tablet/register system, then waited even longer for our food to get to our table. The burgers aren't special, and therefore leaning into overpriced in my opinion and our fries seemed like the ones you can buy from the freezer section at the supermarket. The worst and most important part of my review though is the customer service, it is a small building so when you have customers in your dining area it is HIGHLY inappropriate to be gossiping with your coworkers, cussing on the phone with *I think* your spouse, and badmouthing someone who ordered through a food ordering app (it was grub hub or uber eats or something). I spent our entire meal in full vision and hearing watching all these dramas unfold and as someone in the service business, I was appalled by actions of the 3 female employees I witnessed. I'll probably come here again, for an insanely large vanilla cone, but I'll probably keep it to the drive through to keep it quick and drama free!
