Viking Drive-Inn

Needed gas on the way back from Spokane and happened to stop in this town. Saw this place and thought we may as well get lunch. We loved it!
They were doing a special today, so we got the cheeseburger, fries, and soda for $5 instead of the normal $7. What a deal! The burger and fries were both great. The kids got shakes and I tried some and those were great too.
They were pretty slammed because of the special deal, but everyone was very nice and friendly.
If I get back up there, I would like to make a point to stop and try the "Viking burger."

Great food. Home made hash browns, large portions. Yummy fries and French dip. We would definitely eat here again.

Our experiences over the decades have always depended on who the current owners are. It's been great, and it's been horrible. Glad to say that this last visit was a pretty good one...

Great American food drive-up sort of out in the middle of nowhere. Don't expect fast food, but the quality is better and it is a sight to see it run on a bare minimum of staff. I would be pleased to drink a chocolate shake from another establishment that matches theirs! I'll find my way back.
