Paulie's Place - Italian Bistro

My husband and I just ate here today for a late lunch. The owners were very friendly. We had a great chat. My husband said the french dip was the best he's ever had. My sub was great and the breadsticks were delicious. Looking forward to sharing the chocolate cake we got to go with my husband later.

I love Paulie’s! It’s been a great addition to the lunch scene in downtown Shelton. They are always friendly, remember my name, and have my order ready to go in no time. Order the Sicilian, you won’t regret it!

If you're in the mood for quality sandwiches, tasty homemade soup, and bakery cake slices, this is the place to go in Shelton! All served up by friendly staff. Most people seem to order ahead or to-go, but I enjoy sitting at the barstool tables. I only wish the default side with the sandwich was something other than Lay's Original chips.

This place has the best subs ever! My husband and I did not know about it and we were headed next door to Sisters. We decided to try Paulies instead and we are so glad we did. Paulie and I think it was his daughter were great. They had another customer come in that was a vegetarian and he made sure to accommodate her with what he had available. We will definitely be back! Keep up the good work????

I work down the street from this place, and it honestly has some of the best subs I've had in my life. The owners are friendly and personable, and they also carry a small supply of sweets and cakes from various local places as well. All of it is delicious. Their prices are pretty on point too. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes a good sub or french dip... I haven't tried one I dislike yet!
