Long road trip and I was craving a cheeseburger. We took a small detour off the highway and parked in front of Smallwood. From the time I walked I until I left with cherries pickles and strawberry jalapeño jam and a killer cheeseburger I could not stop smiling. What a gem!
Love the coffee milkshake (strong, with bits of chunky ice I thought was coffee bean at first, it was great!), with whip and NO chocolate drizzle (personal preference, most people like it) and the cooler back porch/ outdoor seating area with fans and "misters" (so I'm told, not on when I went).
Awesome restaurant. Homey farm view setting and delicious country fare. The homebrand is quality jellies, sauces and sauces that are very good with a wide selection. You get what you pay for. The produce is top notch but very expensive, cost higher than anywhere outside Whole Foods. Worth the stop for ice cream cones for sure.
U HAVE to have the baked heans!! Im coming back just for an order of their baked beans!!! Wow! Food was flavourful. Had brisket special. Good selection of craft beer. Pleasant servers. Outdoor seating area is great. Clean, roomy, and beautiful farm view. Will stop by anytime we drive thru. This place is a country gem.
Small produce area with delicious cherries, peanut brittle, tasty treats .... and a lovely little kitchen in the back putting out milkshakes and sandos. Delighted by stumbling on this little place.
