This is a great beer hall. They have a very spacious setup with a plethora of games you can play whilst dining or if you are just out for some beers with friends. It's family friendly so children are welcome, and the kids even have a lot of fun. There is a 9 hole mini golf course within the facility, I was pretty amazed they had it. I have only eaten their fries, which were great especially with the curry ketchup they make. Pretty large beer selection with some German beers mixed in. Cozing up next to the fire place is by far my favorite when visiting here. If you're passing by, stop on in. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to go out of their way to ensure you're having a great experience.
Best German restaurant in Tacoma. But it's not just a restaurant, there are lots of fun games such as mini golf. My two year old absolutely loved it and we had such a good time.
The food is so delicious and the portion is huge. We ordered sausage sampler. It's enough for 3 or 4 people to share and it came with super yummy fries. The giant pretzel is yummy and it came with 4 different dipping sauce.
Overall we had an amazing dining experience. Will definitely come back.
Delicious food with great vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options! The soft pretzel appetizer is highly recommended! Great for kids/families as well as adults! Looks like Gaston’s Lodge from Beauty and the Beast. I love it!
???? pretzel was lacking at best. I miss the days when they weren't tough to eat and had multiple dipping sauces provided. The goulash was delicious! And the beers on tab were also a highlight. Atmosphere was also really nice.
Great food, fun atmosphere, and shuffle board. But I was part of a large party (30-40 people). We had reserved a section in advance. We had only one server for the entire party. She did well considering her work load, but the service was severely lacking in the end because no one person can take care of that many guests. And they added a 23% automatic gratuity to the bill?!?! If the restaurant is going to charge that much, it should supply better (more) service for sure.
It's a shame because they have the space to accommodate large groups. However, I would not recommend this place for an event. I would return here for a dinner for two though.
