Outlook Inn and New Leaf Cafe

I would recommend this place to anyone! The rooms were very clean and the beds are really comfy. We stayed two nights and will definitely be back! The staff is wonderful as well!!

I love the New Leaf Cafe. Their "Smoked Salmon Benedict" paired with a "Damn Good Bloody Mary" is the perfect start to my day! The awesome food paired with the the outstanding service and the fantastic view is just sublime!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Outlook Inn this past weekend and it was great! We were checked in by the owner, Sara, and saw her throughout our stay. She was so nice and friendly as was everyone who worked there. We had 2 double beds in our room and the decor was cute and thoughtful. Everything was very clean and they pay a lot of attention to detail. We had breakfast at their restaurant on Saturday morning and it was phenomenal! Such fresh food and the bloody Mary’s were amazing!! Hats off to everyone there and looking forward to coming back.

The new Water's Edge suites are the newest addition to the Historic Outlook Inn property on Orcas Island. These rooms were amazing. The closest to the shoreline in the San Juan Islands...we had a private 100 sq. foot balcony that the water lapped up under at night, beach access, fireplace in room, a soaker bathtub, heated bathroom floors, a fancy beverage cooler for wines, and only had to walk a few yards for beach access. The interior design of the rooms is upscale and detailed and the views of Indian Island and Fishing Bay were stunning and staff was nice and sweet in Orcas Island fashion. Great for a romantic getaway or a dreamy family vacation.

Such a lovely place. We stayed in the historic part with two twins. Everything was SUPER clean. Same for the shared bathrooms, freshly painted maintained and cleaned. Very comfortable beds too, the right kind of firm in my book. As part of the historic section the insulation isn't the best and we could hear people. I wore earplugs and slept great. Will definitely stay again. Thank you!
