Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I'm happy our local Popeyes is keeping their store hygiene on point, especially during the most recent pandemic. Their closest competitor in the chicken industry (at least locally) is a really scary place, especially right now. And their chicken sandwich is delicious!

So much better than KFC and others. But you do pay for that upgrade in quality and taste. $35 for 10 strips, 2 large sides, 5 biscuits and 2 apple pies. It's a little high price but I'll keep going. The strips are so crispy and flavorful. I've been there many times over the years and it's extremely consistent. I've never had a bad meal.

Delicious, but ridiculously small. Go to a grocery store and the chicken at the store is easily, four times larger. Yes. Four times. The chicken at the restaurant is so small, I almost asked if they were using adult chickens or fresh hatched chicks. Seriously.

The mashed potatoes were delicious and a good portion. I also ended up getting a side of Cajun fries which were not as tasty as I hoped, but they weren't bad.

Store was clean, staff was civil, but yeah, I got a 4 piece dinner and wow was the chicken small. And as you probably already know, ours it's not cheap to eat there.

Great Costumer service. It’s my first time in a Popeye’s restaurant and I had a great experienced. The cashier, Dallas, was really helpful and friendly. I highly recommend stop by here if you’re in Burlington.

Very fast drive though. Chicken would have better texture if it was cooked longer or fresh. Mine was very most breading, not really into that when I order fried chicken. Over all was a better experience than KFC! Thanks for the good customer!
