Cascade Dining Room

Great hotel restaurant with a nice menu and amazing views of the hotel property and river. Food was great too. My wife had what she said was one of the best Arugala salads she has ever had and my Rueben sandwich was huge and excellent too. If you are in the area (even if you are not staying at the hotel) we would recommend checking it out. Side Note: the hotel is awesome too. A lot to do. I really like going to eat at the Cascade Dining Room at Skamania Lodge quite a lot. There aren't many places to eat in Stevenson, and the Cascade Dining Room gives some rustic elegance as a nice reprieve from the ordinary faire around town. There are times that the wait can be long before somebody comes to take care of you, but once the food is ordered it comes quickly and it's very good. My favorite thing on the menu are the steelhead tacos and the Angus burger is very good also. The prices are not cheap but not terribly expensive. And you can't beat the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and during the day has a beautiful view. One thing that some people may not like is that it is a bit of a walk from the parking lot into the building so if there are any physical limitations or you don't want to go out in the cold and rain, bear that in mind.

Sunday brunch. Yum. Food was delicious. Prime rib, salmon, ham had great flavor. Cook of all proteins was pretty spot on. Little mini personal waffles just the right size. Additional buffet menu. Crab legs side option of salad and cheeses made for a good flavor change. Noting negative to say. The dessert was good as well. Cremè brulee was good and the mini bits of cheesecake was tasty as well. Service was friendly and kept us filled with fluids . Highly recommend. ????????
