Clark & Lewie's Travelers Rest Saloon & Grill

Ordered the Charcuterie board. It was served with chunks of ham. Really? HAM? Never EVER have I seen ham on a charcuterie plate. For $17, I would expect a better 'cured meat'. Or just leave the ham off, it's an insult to what charcuterie plates should be.

Come on people. Why was this place not super busy on a friday at 5:30!?
The happy hour was good and the food tasted even better. The 3 salmon sliders were wonderful. Live music was starting at 7.
Great little place along the mighty Columbia river. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

My friend, Roger took me here after visiting the Intrepretive center in Stevenson. What a great guy..he raved about this neat little restaurant on the Columbia river. He was right. I had a Wedge, with bacon bits, sliced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes & sprinkles of Blue cheese along with Blue Cheese dressing, delicious. He had Buffalo stew...a bowl of it..he also, said it was the best...
We both had coffee. And, the water was served in a lg bottle with a unique opener on it. This place is a zoo on the wkend. What a view, great place to eat out doors in the summer. They have beer, wine also.

This place was such a great find! Beautiful view of the river. The food was delicious and they have decent local wines. The portions were rather large for the price. Try the stuffed jalapeños - an interesting twist on one of my favorite appetizers!
