One of the few places left in the area that offer fresh baked bagels. My personal favorite is the Asiago bagel...toasted of course! Panera offers a comfortable seating/dining area with a variety of table sizes and seating options which makes for a perfect place to meet someone for an informal interview or for a small team meeting or study group gathering.
This PB is conveniently located at the intersection of highway 99 and 205 in Shoreline. The building is accessible from both streets. I found the staff in this location most friendly and cheerful. Their demeanor seem contagious as all the customers coming in while we were there were smiling and saying hello to each other. The service was prompt but I suspect their is more to this very happy environment than how quickly you received your order. Congrats to management for cultivating and supporting this environment.
I got some bad news on the way to lunch at this Panera location. I ended up being a bit tearful while paying for my lunch. The staff brought me a free heart-shaped cookie because they noticed ❤️❤️ Really meant a lot- totally not necessary but SO thoughtful and caring. Nice job Panera.
I respect Panera for what they are doing. They do try to stay modern and relevant and find their unique spot in food chain business. I like their food, I like their staff attitude, I like they introduced self-ordering booths (four stars because they didn't work properly when I tried to use them). I'm not sure combination of food taste/amount/price hits just the sweet spot for me but it's certainly very close.
Also this location is really nice to visit on a cold crisp morning. You can order some hot tea with four-cheese souffle and enjoy watching cars passing by or a pair of crows talking about their meal findings on a nearby tree.
