I lived in San Diego for ten years and every time I eat here it takes me back to Southern California. I wasn't shocked when I talked to the owner and found out he moved up here from San Diego!
This place is a legit Southern California-style Mexican food. The prices are unbeatable and the food is delicious with generous portions. This is the type of mexican place I've been looking for since I moved up here!
Excellent! This place is fast and fresh! Best I’ve had in the area. The hot food is hot and the cold food is very cold. I love that the lettuce is cold and crispy like it was just pulled out of the fridge! It’s these details to fresh food that make a difference. My entire family loves this place and come here often. Not to mention how nice and friendly they are. Always an excellent experience in every way.
Absolutely amazing food. It's so authentic and perfect I wish we had gone here sooner. Easily made it to top #10 on my list of restaurants to go to. Will come here as often as possible! Now I feel like I'm cheating on my other favourite Mexican restaurant haha.
It's fantastic! Always excited to eat there. On death row I'd be happy to have this. I suppose I should head back over there and get some food. It's easy to dine in with the girlfriend and she likes it so I'm good.
I had the 2 beef burrito combo with rice and beans. The portions were of a good size and the filling was warm enough. There were green peppers and onions which provided most of the flavor. The people I went with agreed that the meat however, didn't have a lot of flavor. The meat was tender but sort of bland. The rice and beans were fairly typical for a Mexican restaurant. The "hot sauces" were fairly watery and didn't contain much flavor or heat. Overall it was ok, but not much different than other Mexican restaurants.
