    I’m from Hawaii born and raised, besides Bobby’s Hawaiian restaurant, this place reached my expectations. We all know that nothing will compare to food back on the islands BUT this does the job and satisfies the craving. :) ordered the meat jun/kalua pig combo plate & banana lumpia... super ono!

    At the recommendation of a coworker, I was told to try Lau Lau, a quick search and boom Hawaiian Sun BBQ is nearby.
    The shop is neat and the staff friendly.

    Next best thing than actually being in Hawaii. Great food, repeat customer.

    Very, very similar product to Ono Hawaiian BBQ (an Arizona and Southern California chain), and thus EXCEEDINGLY good. I cannot recommend the beef short ribs highly enough. The portions are also strong for the price, and the service very fast. Yes, the interior is pretty frumpy, but let's be honest here: you go to a place like this for the food, not the atmosphere. Five stars, will eat here frequently.
