LJ's Bistro & Bar

The food was good. Portions small. Tasha less than pleasant, and as a manager she needs to work on her interpersonal communication skills. Andrew was great, helpful, patient and descriptive of the menu. Have been to the original LJ's several times so hope it will continue on a positive trend!

Atmosphere was great and the new location looks very nice. Our server was amazing. Two out of our three meals were very good. Unfortunately the third meal (a burger) was way over cooked/burnt. Sent it back and the new burger was over cooked/dry and had a burnt bun, so our server went and got a new bun very quickly which helped. Our server was very nice and apologetic. They didn't charge us for burger which was nice of them. We will still go back despite the bad burger experience as we know this isn't the normal for them.

Oh my goodness why did it take us so long to try this place out! Very classy joint! Food was amazing, service was amazing (Andrew in the bar). We talked about whiskey, gin, and rum what a great time. We will be back.

Excellent! Hadn't been to LJs in a while and what I remember of my impressions from the original location was "nice, but somewhat limited". Well, just visited the new location and was very pleased! Seems like they have a bigger, better kitchen and the impact is significant. The menu has a nice depth to it, not only in selection, but also pricing. And the quality was impressive. The bar has a great selection of craft cocktails and wine as well.

Only down note? It's very, very loud. If they invested in some sort of noise reducing ceiling treatments it would improve the atmosphere 100%. Not anything that would keep us away, but just be aware it's not the place for an intimate, "romantic" date.

Anyway, we will definitely be back the next time we're looking for a great meal!

Ordered steak hash for brunch. It was delicious! Had a good kick to it but not too spicy. The steak was tender and eggs cooked perfectly.

Love the new location! Still has the homey feel like the other location. Waitress (forgot her name) was very nice and made sure our drinks were never empty. Highly recommend!
