Bantaba African Restaurant

My husband and I went yesterday. The food was amazing, though they ran out of the first dish I wanted to try (good sign in my opinion). I like trying new foods from different cultures and hands down this is the best restaurant we have been to so far! Only down side is we love 4+ hours away ????

Food was good but service can be slow! I recommend calling ahead to get your order on time. My favorite is their meat pies, which can run out rather quickly.

Great food, very flavorful hence the 4 stars. BUT kitchen is very disorganized, they take your order without asking for your name or giving you a number. The night we went they were out of peanut butter for their entrees, there was 7 people in the back you're telling me one person cant run to fred meyer that's down the street and buy some peanut butter? All in all, the place is worth a try.

Later on a Saturday night. Almost closing time. The food was excellent! Peanut (groundnut) stew beef and fried plantains to die for! The stew was rich and flavorful with just the right amount of heat to make it ideal. The fried plantains were perfect and served with delicious onion jam dip. I'll be back for more!

Delicious! I've had the Afra lamb, Benechin & fried plantains. The food is great, the staff friendly. I'll back. I'm so excited to have food like this near by.
