Silver Spoon Thai Restaurant & Bar

I loved this place! We arrived at about 4:40, a little early for dinner but who cares! It has an old feel to it, but it was very spacious and cozy at the same time! There is a love piano player, which we tipped and he then came to our table and asked if we had any requests, which we most definitely did, Billy Joel was the man...he played it wonderfully and my hubs and i danced to it. Quite the romantic moment!

On to the food...DELICIOUS!! The coconut prawns were fresh and YUMMY!!! My hubs ordered the Pad Thai and I ordered the Silver Spoon Delight, and it really was a delight! Cant wait to go back!! Check Groupon for awesome deals for this restaurant!!

The not-so-good part was the bathroom, it needs a major cleaning. There were a few tenants that have been there for a while i reckon. I talking about spiders not roaches or any other bugs. Other than that...I recommend!! The service was lovely!!

I just ordered and received the Sweet and Sour Chicken. While it was very tasty I was very surprised that a chicken dish would be served with very little chicken in it. It was the lunch special and came with only 4 small pieces of chicken and then lots of vegetables and rice. They charge between $10 - $11 for this. I have a dietary requirement that provides protein. For this reason I typically look for dishes that advertise some type of meat. Caution when ordering. They are charging for meat and filling with vegetables. Even then, many of them I had to toss due to stems and just not looking like they were too ripe. This was delivery and when I called in to order, the man on the phone was very dismissive of my concern with my order. Now I know for future meals to not go here.

Very neat setting. The servers were very very friendly. Came to my table more than 3 times to check up on what was needed. There was also a pianist there during dinner time. I felt like it was home for me because it was quiet and not loud like sports like restaurant. I do recommend this place for family dining.

Place and staff both extraordinary. Didn't like what I ordered but my date loved his. I'm sure i would like something there well worth trying again.
