Excellent, forgot this place even existed in our neck of SNOCO. Just happened to stop at the Shell station on 116th n State or old hwy 99 North. As I pulled up see SKIPPERS signs in the window.
Food was all good. Fish, fries, and coleslaw, but something changed with the chowder , just wasn't right for my taste anyway....
Definitely will be back. And may options available from breakfast, lunch and dinner...
One downfall I say is CLOSED WEEKENDS
Weekdays 5a to 9p I think.....
My grandson was playing w my phone, I haven't been to a skippers in quite awhile, sorry..
Wait a sec, is this the gas station by 116th in Marysville? If so , this place is great! Shell gas? Car wash ? I had NO IDEA it was a skippers too.... dang it , my apologies
This mild mannered gas station/ convenience store has a Skippers!!!!! I thought they were all gone. The chowder is just like I remember. The fish is good, but it's no longer cod. It's talapia or white fish. Still has the awesome breading! The fries are very good too!
Good food and customer service. Clean, as well. Unfortunately, not open on weekends.
Food was good but not the original Skippers recipe. I was really looking forward to that good old Skippers flavor that I know and loved so much. Although I did not receive exactly that I still had a good basket of fish and chips so it was a win either way. The chowder was the closest to the old recipe. The menu however was much more vast than just fried fish, I need to go back soon and explore some of the great options they had. The prices were pretty decent too. I have some pics but can't find them. Will post if I do
