Ixtapa Restaurant

I'd go for the colorful & eclectic art filled atmosphere alone, the real treat was the actual decor and expansive building & the food was a cherry on top. Traditional Mexican food, nice beer & specialty drink variety. Amazing service! These folks take pride in their business & care about the customers.

Went here last valentines day. The restaurant was more packed than i had ever seen it before. The volume levels made me think of red robin, everyone knows how loud it is there. Service was great. Food was fantastic. We ordered a margarita. We wanted a larger one and my boyfriend made the mistake of saying he wanted a grande. BIGGEST MARGARITA OF MY LIFE!! This thing legit looked like it was in a fish bowl! It was shared between us and was made nicely. We were worried about the cost of this mega margarita come to find out it was only 13 dollars!! We were expecting a $25 drink for the size of it. We had a great time there, just as expected:)

Great atmosphere, service was fabulous. Food isn't the cheapest but it tastes amazing and each meal is definitely enough to feed 2 people. And if you like margaritas but don't want to pay 8 bucks each for them, just get a grande and it is enough for 2 people to drink on for the whole meal and was only 13 dollars. I have been coming here for as long as I can remember and have always loved it. Strongly recommend you try it if you haven't already.

Ixtapa in Monroe was a perfect place for our family to have a tasty dinner. The pomegranate margarita was divine and huge! Our server, Rosa, and other staff were attentive and friendly. Service was prompt. We had a lot of fun!

Makes a great cocktail & consistent food. I really like the BlackBerry Margaritas. The Nachos are a little sad.

I wish they would offer some new and exciting dishes once in a while. Other than that it's your standard Mexican place nothing out of the ordinary food wise.

The staff is very friendly and give you excellent service and prices are reasonable.
