Ivar's Fish Bar

Great fast food. The coconut shrimp on special is the same as what you get at Ivar's fancier waiter service restaurants at Mukilteo and Lake Union. We like the fish bar for the reasonable prices and the fact that we can walk there. Ivar's has been a Northwest institution sine before I was born, and I am old. ????

I love the view. Easygoing, family friendly with young children, great wait staff serving tasty food. We go for a light meal or simply to celebrate special occasions.

Available parking, good service for a large party. Quick service for a busy night. Ravioli with chicken was good, but spicier than I would have liked.

Had a great time here, the fried calamari and halibut and chips were sooooo good, we couldn't help but go back the next day. Glad my husband and I got to visit this wonderful location, where the staff are welcoming and the view is great (you get to see the ferry go back and forth, and the occasional seal) it was an experience to remember. Can't wait to go back some day, the surrounding area was calming and the people were so friendly. I really recommend this place for fish and chips lovers and those wanting to try something new and different.
