Oh my goodness, this place is amazing! I heard so much about it and finally was able to visit and let me tell you, there are no disappointments here. We celebrated our daughter's 21st birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. Both the hostess and chef were pleasant and personable from start to finish throughout the dining experience. The environment is clean. The atmosphere was relaxing and somewhat had this coziness about it. Laughter and smiles filled the room as we were entertained at the Teppanyaki table. The food was well seasoned and cooked. The dipping sauces were flavorable, too. The portions of the food make your dollars well spent. I would highly recommend this place and plan to visit again!!!!

On Friday, December 22, 2023, my family (wife, 6-year-old daughter, 3-year-old son, and myself) along with another couple dined at Fujiyama. It was the first time for my family. Our reservation was for 7:30 p.m. but we didn’t get seated until 8 p.m. The hostess was very apologetic. We sat down and had a really nice time. The restaurant itself is a cozy atmosphere that is conducive to conversation and it felt warm inside compared to the cold weather outside. Our server did an excellent job with everything but we especially appreciated how she always filled up our soda glasses even when they weren’t empty. Our cook was talented and fun. And oh yes, the food was delicious. My wife and I had the steak and chicken dinner for two. It came with salad, soup, fried rice, veggies, and a couple pieces of shrimp. My daughter had the kids steak dinner and my son had chicken fingers. The fried rice had great flavor, the veggies were cooked and seasoned perfectly, the chicken hit the spot, but the steak was a bit tough. When we received our check, an automatic 18% gratuity was added on. Not a big deal but we only had a six-person party. They won’t tell you that this automatic tip has been added on so just be aware before double tipping them (if that isn’t something you want to do). Because of the long wait, they did give us a 10% discount so our total bill—with gratuity added—was $110. For a fun, entertaining, and delicious dinner I think it was worth it. We will return the next time we have a holiday or accomplishment to celebrate.

Underrated Spokane area gem! By far the best Japanese restaurant in the area and THE BEST Hibachi! EVERYTHING was fantastic and I'd say I enjoyed the ribeye more than Churchill's and I LOVE Churchill's. The restaurant was clean and modern unlike many of the other Hibachi restaurants in the area. Fantastic chef and service. Prices were very reasonable for Hibachi and we will definitely be back. If you like Hibachi, this place is a MUST. Call ahead to make reservations.

Nice restaurant for special occasions. It's clean and has a nice ambience. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I had reservations right at 7 p.m. but did not get seated 20-30 minutes after. Prices are a bit on the expensive side. Their sushi is good. Just the right amount of rice on the rolls, very flavorful. I recommend the godzilla roll. The hibachi was delicious, but it does not justify the cost. You pay almost $40 dollars for a small servings of chicken fried rice ($3.00 up charge for 2-3 bite size pieces), veggies, and steak. Overall a good experience, especially for kids.

My husband and I decided to come here for our anniversary and we had a lot of fun but the food was honestly a little bit of a letdown. I had the chicken and steak but my chicken was chopped into very small pieces and definitely way over cooked. My steak was better but ordered medium rare and it was not even close… very very medium/well done. I love that they used lots of garlic butter, they flavors were nice. We had a good time anyway, I just wish for the price my meat hadn’t been over cooked.

We each had a sushi roll and those were delicious. loved the battered tempura veggie appetizer and our chef made dinner fun.

We will probably come back at some point to give it another try.
