Caruso's Sandwiches and Artisan Pizza

The cake was amazing. The gas fireplace on the enclosed porch was warm and inviting. The staff bent over backwards to find us all something yummy including the vegans who were with me. The vegan pizza attempt was kinda sad but the staff really tried and they were good natured about it.

Clint at the Argonne location was amazing!!!! Offered sides, growlers, talked very kindly... Excellent customer service... Being in the bar business it is nice to go somewhere that no one knows you and be treated with the most excellent service! Thank you for making my evening perfect! Sandwiches,beer,and salads and cheesecake was amazing!

A unique little spot with really good food. They have terrifically fresh made salads and even fresh homemade cookies. The atmosphere is not what you would expect from the outside of the place and it's not at all what I thought it would be but I was a little bit thrown off due to the other restaurants which had previously occupied the building, such as Wolfie's and Scotties. The restaurant Is tucked into a spot next to a few fast food places which sets it apart from the other choices in the area. They have a really busy cafe type "to go" area with quaint seating and a really nice cozy outdoor area with a fireplace that's even open and available when it's raining outside. The prices are a bit higher than you'd initially assume but once you see and taste the food you'll know the reason why your paying over $15 for a salad but the portions are large and the food is yummy. If you're in the mood for a great night out with good food and unique atmosphere, give Caruso's a try and thank me later.

They have an extensive menu and the food and service was great. The only reason I would give a four star rating instead of five is that the atmosphere was very noisy. Difficult to hear each other talk with the music too loud and screaming kids nearby. We tried sitting on the patio but music was loud there also. Great food though and reasonable, competitive prices.

On Saturday, July 2, 2022, we (my wife, two small children, and myself) tried Caruso’s in the Spokane Valley for the first time. We had wanted to try it for at least the past year so we were glad to finally give it a try. The restaurant itself is spotless, comfortable, and smells really food. You order up front at the counter. We were given excellent service by the guy who took our order. When we were ordering pizza for our 5-year-old and 2-year-old we planned to order them a cheese pizza to split but the employee suggested we would get a better deal if we ordered them each a half cheese pizza as a drink would come with it. We appreciated that suggestion!

So, as you probably know by now, my kids got cheese pizza. My wife ordered a half sandwich and a half salad. Both items were large for being halves! They offer pasta bowls and I ordered the Italian Bowl which is spaghetti pasta with meatballs, Italian sausage, marinara sauce, onions, feta cheese, and olives (I held the olives). It was served with a big, fresh bread stick. We all really enjoyed our food. The total was $50…so I would say that the prices aren’t cheap but they aren’t too pricey either. We enjoyed our experience and would probably return.
