Excellent restaurant for fancy dinners. The portions are large and the good has great flavors. Everything is made fresh and the presentations are appealing
This is a well preserved hotel with the vibe of the past. Comfortable beds, clean room and the food from the restaurant was really good but the catering for the event was subpar.
I would for sure stay here if I returned to the area this place makes me want to film a movie from the 70’s here.
The bartenders & front desk staff were really cool.
Amber is such a compassionate and hardworking waitress. One of our orders came out wrong and she immediately knew and did everything she could to make it right. The wings were incredible. The rib eye steak came out perfectly, the Halibut was delicious and the chicken piscotta linguine was okay. The creme brule was fantastic and beautifully crafted. Amber deserves a raise!
A Dining Delight
I stopped in to eat at Max's after a flight from California. I have been to Spokane Valley Numerous times over the years, and always wanted to check Max's out. Finally, I had the chance to as my flight got in earlier in the afternoon. I went there just a touch before 5:00 pm on a Saturday and got a seat right away. I had looked at the menu previous to my visit and know that I was going to order the Steams Manilla Clams. I started off with the soup of the day, which was a cold soup almost like gazpacho. The soup was on the light side and was a perfect starter. Max's meals come with freshly baked bread which I used to sop up that delightful last bits of soup. The Clams were served in a white wine broth, and came with two giant pieces of cheese topped crostini. The portion was much larger than I expected and although the clams are on the appetizer menu the portion size is almost a dinner entre size. The meal was fantastic and so was the service. I finally made it to Max's and do expect to return when I'm back in the area.
