Some friends and I joined Mitch for a D&D one shot back in August at the Valley location and had a blast! We brought players with varying experience, one having never played, one to having played a little and a few who have played for years and all had an awesome time. The food and drinks were great. We decided to try out the downtown taproom this month and if it's just as enjoyable, I'd highly recommend it!
What a cool place! Great beer, food was yummy, and Jackie was awesome. We're friends now 🤷🏻♀️ Definitely recommend this place!
A new fave place!! Came here for the first time ever during the Valley taproom’s Retro Game Night, including Super Nintendo, N64, Rockband, Wii, and a variety of board games which appear to be available year-round. If you are a gamer and/or enjoy cult-classic movies, shows, etc. then this place is made for you! Many themes for their drinks, foods, and events including several beers related to The Fifth Element. I especially enjoyed the Key Lime Pie Porter as well as The Slammer (POG Imperial). The staff was incredibly friendly and we easily polished off a tray of “neverwinter” nachos. Can’t wait to come here again! Also special shoutout to the awesome worker with the Majora’s Mask tattoo :)
What a fun welcoming little joint.
Small but mighty tap list that has something for everyone.
Food came out hot and fresh.
The games are a fun addition to engage with one another instead of looking at screens.
Glad we came by, will come again!!!
So glad we went here! Coming in was a little awkward because we didn't know how it worked, but after that it was pleasant.
When you come in you order your drinks and food at the register and then you can pick your own seat. Just a tip for any first timers.
The food is not only affordable but amazing. The menu items have fun names, though I would have liked to be able to sit and look them over.
I'm not a drinker but my lemonade was pretty tasty and my friends LOVED their cider. They bought a growler to bring home as well and they're glad they did.
I expected a little more nerd decor, but having a bright, clean place to eat and talk was refreshing. I cannot tell you how nice it was to be in a bar with NO SPORTS playing on a TV! It's also great that they have board games to bring to your table and if course some tables that are perfect for playing D&D.
We're obviously coming back soon.
