We went here for my birthday dinner and were sat downstairs in our own booth. The atmosphere was everything. Deon was our server and when I tell you the food was delicious, the service made the experience all the better. Deon was professional, kind, warm and there when we needed and not overwhelming. We highly recommend sharing a bottle of wine and eating at this establishment when you get the chance.
We came out from Mukilteo to eat here for my birthday.
Service was on point; our waiter was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. He had an answer to every question.
The atmosphere is very comfortable and intimate.
The best way to describe our meal is decadent.
The caesar salad is literally the best I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and get it
We got the filet and bone in filet, both were equally delicious. The loaded potato was so full of bacon, I don't think I tasted much potato. Very generous portions on everything.
Both plates were packed up to go half eaten, as neither of us could finish them.
Overall, our experience was top notch. We will definitely be coming back.
The wait staff were exceptionally professional, as well as accommodating and friendly. They exhibited no pushiness, and were more than willing to answer questions.
I ordered the porter house, medium, but slightly more towards the medium rare scale. It was cooked to perfection. With a very nice sear and crust on the outside. Absolutely no seasoning required. The mash ed potatoes were smooth and very consistent in texture. I noticed it as they cooled. They became slightly more gelatinous. But they were pleasant. I was surprised at the seasonal vegetable, which was peas. They were very bright green in color and still had a nice snap to them, although they were fully cooked. I believe that they were finished with butter before being sent to the table. Very nice.
My dining companion and I ordered Caesar salad, the dressing was traditional, and the greens were fresh with no discoloration and also had a very crisp texture. I would rate the salad as a 7.5 out of 10.
Dinner was served with their house made rolls, and a nice butter. I thought the rolls were exceptional.
The one thing that I found unusual in my dining experience was that the background music was classic rock from the '60s and early '70s. It seemed like an unusual choice for a steakhouse. That being said, it was played very softly and was not very noticeable.
Most likely the best, and most traditional steakhouse in the Spokane area. I enjoyed my overall experience and I'm looking forward to a return visit.
Visiting from Maryland & this is hands down the absolute best meal I’ve had. From the Oyster’s Rockefeller to the NY strip even the Mac N Cheese. If you’re doubting dinner here , trust me take the time and come here and you will not regret it. The experience, the atmosphere, the staff , the food is all worth it. I’ll sure to be back to visit when I’m back in town.
Lovely atmosphere! The service was unbelievably
good. Craft drinks were spot on and their wine list is one of the best I have seen locally. The appetizer list is unique to the area and we really enjoyed the escargot and crab cakes. All in all we were pleased with our evening at Churchhills.
