The food was really good. The rice maker was not working so was disappointed to get noodles instead of rice with my dish, but honestly the noodles were super yummy! Mac salad and spam musubi had great flavor! service could have been better. Decorations and atmosphere were spot on!
Food was great and the atmosphere was welcoming. I enjoyed it and the owner had donated to Hawaii after the devastating fires. The friendliness and food makes this a definite place to go and enjoy authentic Hawaiian.
#1 you know it’s real if it comes with macaroni salad ✅
#2 spam musubi!!! ✅
#3 wow everything was so delicious, get ready to leave thinking you ate too much.
#4 they are making donations to aid Maoi ❤️🔥❤️🩹
#5 it’s a really fun atmosphere especially if you love the beach vibes.
#they have some very fun authentic soda options too!
# it’s a little bit pricey but so so worth it.
I am not an authority on Hawaiian food but I've eaten enough of it to know when it's good. Let me tell you, this is GOOD. Not too busy on a Thursday night so service was very fast. My go to is always the Kalua pork and Katsu chicken. Both here are excellent! The other half of the plate lunch is always the rice and macaroni salad. Here, you have a choice of noodles or rice and I opted for the former and don't regret it. The Mac salad... on point! Decent value, too. Almost more food than one person can eat.
