Beaver Lodge Resort & Campground

We absolutely loved our stay here in Oct. 2019, it's rustic & charming. The food was delicious, owners/staff were welcoming & helpful. We were in town for my great aunt's memorial service and wanted to stay somewhere more fun than a boring hotel.

This place is great. Beautiful location and super friendly staff. I left my towels at home and they didn't hesitate to loan me towels. I've been coming here since the 90s without any issues. Some of the negative reviews must be from people on the other side of the state. Expecting way too much from camping. They can stay away and leave it for the people who appreciate it! We'll continue coming back here.

We have came here for years and it used to be the best little getaway. This weekend we stayed and decided we probably won’t be coming back. This place has gone downhill. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, you can tell they don’t get cleaned at all. You now have to pay to use them or the showers. The service at the cafe wasn’t great either. The swimming area is also trashed. Also they have 2 broken docks that are ready to collapse and take up all the room to swim. It’s sad to see this gem become this bad.
