Beauty really is in tbe eye of ybe beholder love it going g back for sure soon
The food was AMAZING. I had a Full Ron Swanson and it was creamy and savory. Just the right amount of everything. The raspberry lotus smoothie was easily the single best raspberry smoothie I've ever had in my life. So glad I finally got to stop by. They were incredibly busy but didn't make you feel like you were waiting forever and were friendly as all get out. The place was SLIGHTLY cluttered but I understand you gotta work with the space you're given. Music was perfect.
Stopped for a late lunch / brunch at 1;30. Had the burrito, made vegan. It was delicious. Also had a drip coffee, also excellent. Servers were friendly, and understood and easily accommodated requests from vegan customers
Wonderful vegetarian sandwich options, great coffee, and adorable seating. This little cozy spot has such good vibes and is connected to a big antique shop and natural grocer. What more could you need!?
Ambiance is nice, employees were kind, pastries were yummy.
My drink was disappointing.
I ordered a 20oz iced Mocha and it was overly sweet, no worries most coffee places do the same thing, I’ll just have to remember to order it half sweet next time.
I was mostly weirded out by their iced cup sizes.
I ordered a 20oz but it was a 16oz cup.
When I asked the employee if he was sure it was 20oz he very politely went and got the exact same cup from his stack of ‘20oz’ cups held it up to mine and said ‘yes, see it’s 20oz’
I’m thinking, he just grabbed another 16oz cup that he thinks is a 20oz and held it up to mine.
I just let it go because I didn’t feel like he was taking me seriously.
I worked as a barista for over a decade and I always thought I was pretty decent at eyeballing how many ounces in a cup, so as a point of my own neurotic perfectionism and pride, I took my drink home and once finished I used my cup and several 16oz glasses and measuring cups to see and it’s for sure 16oz.
It’s for sure a 16oz to go cup.
All pint glasses, grande reusable Starbucks cups, and measuring cups in my home showed that.
I don’t think they’re aware of it, I always want to give people the benefit of the doubt, but as of yesterday they are confused about their large iced drink cup size and are overcharging.
It also made me think that they probably put the amount of chocolate sauce they would put in a 20oz into the 16oz cup which is why it was super extra sweet.
My experience wasn’t terrible. There are lots of great things about this place and I’m sure I’ll give them another try, but my visit was also kind uncomfortable and disappointing
