Ricardo's Kitchen + Bar

I have been to numerous the nicest and well known steak restaurants in downtown Seattle and Bellevue area and there are only handful of them that are equivalent to Ricardo’s.
Absolute hidden jewel in Olympia area. You have to try their steak, it will blow your mind.
For the lunch try 80-20 burger, for the dinner all of their steaks are cooked to perfection, and even plating(presentation) of the food is state of an art. Great selection of wine, great atmosphere. If you need to get a good steak in the area, look no further

Hopefully the steaks here are better than other menu items. My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here and were not impressed. To start off with, the lighting was so dim, we had to use our phones to read the menu. The wife's halibut was dry and flavorless. The prawns in my pasta dish were scant and over-cooked. Both of our sauces were bland. The salami in out appetizer was turning green and the cheeses were meh. Prices were very high (although we expected that), and parking was limited. After reading the glowing reviews and seeing the prices, we expected much more.

Tasty place to eat if you love meat. I went for lunch and the prices were reasonable for a higher end establishment. The service was also excellent. It was cool to see the meat in a giant walk-in as you enter the restaurant.

Cade was an awesome server! I can't stress how much he made our experience super easy and enjoyable. Food was excellent, you get what you pay for. I wish I took pictures, I highly recommend the fresh menu if you can. Dessert was average though - I got the cake and ice cream. My friends talked me out of the fish and got their steak instead - I'm glad because it was amazing. Will be back.... Someday

I'm delighted by the uniqueness and freshness of the menu. I enjoyed a soup and salad the last time I was there. I love that the location is quiet yet upscale. It's got a great patio as well. I suggest you swing in for lunch or happy hour for your business meetings. You will definitely impress your business associates.
