Clarette's Restaurant

A classic old fashioned diner. This place was packed when we showed up for a Saturday breakfast, the service was great, the food took a little too long to show, but was well worth the wait, make sure you have time to sit and visit before you go there.

i wish i had taken photos, because the portions were huge. Our server, Delilah, was super sweet and helpful. We ordered the chicken fried steak dinner, and it was delicious. The mashed potatoes were amazing and so soft. My dad got the fish and chicken platter, the serving size was huge. If you're planning to stop by, definitely make sure you have an empty stomach!

Service is slowed. Dinner takeout took 40 minutes despite only 5 tables full. My poached eggs are soft boiled.....

The Cheese Blintzes were amazing with local strawberry sauce on top, the French Toast was wonderful as well, but the egg combo was just so-so.
The coffee was great and the servers were friendly. We will be back, I will just order something different.

Wholesome filling food in a charming atmosphere. The portions where large and everything was full of flavor. Plus feeding a family of 4 for under $70 aint to bad either.
