We just had the best food and service here tonight!
Don’t come here expecting white tablecloth formal dining or mild food (ok, there’s even items on the menu for people who want something mild and delicious too), but they do serve alcohol, and that’s why this is exactly my kind of place. The vibes aren’t the only good thing around here though. The Tom ka ghai soup and spicy Basil dish were the best I’ve ever had. We also had the fried duck which was absolutely amazing with the papaya salad. Freshness and presentation were on point. The owner was super attentive and communicative despite being very busy and made sure our food was extra spicy, like we’d requested. It was spicy, but not uncomfortably so, and the delicious flavor wasn’t overpowered by heat at all.
If you go there, realize that staff is limited, be patient, and just enjoy yourselves 🙂
Highly recommend
I dined in here today (Monday) around 6pm and the server, food, and drinks were awesome! It was just him taking care of all the guests, and take out orders, which is quite a bit for one person during peak hours. And when I tell you, this was the best yellow curry I have ever had, I mean it! I wanted it spicy, and when I got it, I was surprised at how much flavor it had along with a good amount of spice. The chef knows what he’s doing. If I come back to Walla Walla, I’ll be sure to stop in again.
Best place in town for some delicious authentic thai/lao food. I eat there 3 to 4 times weekly. Literally. If u haven't eaten there, you're truly missing out!!!!!
Worth the extra 3 minute drive from the highway! Great Thai with tons of basil and vegetables - the staff are abiding to CDC guidelines and are wearing masks. This place is open for takeout. Really friendly staff. The Thai tea was phenomenal and the entrees were filling and flavourful. Nothing negative about this place. Great atmosphere.
I had a mixed experience. The food was excellent quality, tasted great and presented tastefully. However, our server (the owner) was rather rude at almost every interaction. And, he added a 20% tip to my check, which was done in such a way that if I had not paid close attention, I would have tipped twice.
