Very interesting to find such a uniquely Japanese place in a small town in U.S.. Went there on a Sunday and found the menu just too limited. We came down from the cold mountain mountain, and would have liked a hot bowl of something to warm us up, but they were featuring sushi, so it wasn't really what we wanted. Would have lived a hot bowl of beef curry udon instead.

Hidden Gem in Maple Falls. Excellent food, cool people running it, we are fortunate to have a place like this in the County.

Really excellent meal. Some of the best Japanese food in the state. Extremely cozy and authentic vibe with personal service from the two owners. Limited menu focused on rice bowls. Tried the red miso chicken (super tender and flavorful) and the house specially katsudon. Worth the trip alone. A jewel on the Mount Baker highway.

Incredible food. Made with so much love and the husband and wife team that own it treat you like you are friends that they invited over for dinner. Officially a guaranteed spot for my husband and I whenever we make our way through Maple Falls.
