First... the catfish was great! The shrimp pasta (maybe the wrong name) also good. My main focus was the catfish which is again was GREAT!!!! hush puppies are good. Good authentic Cajun flavors (I'm from Louisiana). Fries were very good and the Cajun tartar sauce also very good. I also had the jambalaya which has very good Cajun flavors.
So glad the there's a place like this in Whatcom County!!!! Owner and workers very nice and customer service oriented!

This seafood basket was SO good, so satisfying! Catfish and shrimp are well seasoned and had a nice crunch! The homemade tartar sauce was next level! I ordered the Mac n Cheese last time and it was a bit bland to be honest, but the seafood really makes up for it. Will be back again!

Battle’s Kitchen seafood mac hits the spot every time. It is worth the wait and the drive for this combo of flavors seafood cheese and macaroni. The picture is there large seafood mac, it comes loaded with crab shrimps and the right amount of cheese. The crew is always nice and polite. Thanks guys!

So excited to see authentic Louisiana style Seafood in Washington State!

This is my first visit and I ordered the Seafood Basket so that I can sample a bit more variety. Nothing disappoints here. The seafood (shrimp and catfish) isn’t just fresh, but also very well-prepared, well-seasoned, and made with love. Their dedication for food is obvious and in every bite.

I think the owners are smart for taking advantage of the fine quality of the local seafood in the area, and combine that with their roots in Louisiana style cooking. It’s full of flavour and not overwhelming.

Although this place doesn’t seem easy to find at first, a quick search on Google Map would do. It’s really an exciting hidden gem. As a Canadian, this is really worth driving across the border for.

They seem to be adding new items regularly and seasonally. Eager to try something new next time.

I got the seafood basket, seafood mac, and red beans and rice. I've lived in The South most of my life, and I'll say this is pretty authentic if anyone is wondering. Reminded me of some summer cookouts back home. The fry time is spot on, and the batter is nostalgic. The dips are a good pairing.

I hope saying this doesn't offend the cooks, but if I'm being honest I snacked in the car and made some changes when I got home. Stirred Crystal into the mac, lemon juice and Crystal on the fish and put it on a bun, and then the rb&r ended up pan-fried with more hot sauce and butter. It's good, simple, hometown food, and you can pretty much do whatever you want to it without worrying about messing things up.

    Enjoy.
