Went there with my aunt and cousin on a recent visit. I had their BLT...it wasn't your ordinary BLT, but was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time, then I was surprised with the crew singing happy birthday to me and giving all three of us a huge piece of Butter cake with a candle on each piece. Needless to say we left with overstuffed, happy tummies! I can't wait to visit again! 5 stars all around.
Friendly fast service. Great food. We split a Turkey sandwich and had plenty. Also shared a browny and blueberry muffin- both were fresh, moist and yummy. The salad was beautiful and delicious.
I love going to this restaurant.. They make you feel like you belong there. The food is great and tasty. If you are ever in Colfax WA stop by in this restaurant. They are open Monday-Friday and the hours are 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM. They can make a sandwich into a salad if you do not want the bread! So stop by and try their delicious food..
Went to Serfes because it was highly recommended by a local friend. The atmosphere is great and the decor is absolutely beautiful. It smells delicious the moment you walk in. Lots of great qualities about this place. The BEST part was the sweetest lady who greeted us when we arrived, making us feel so welcomed. I'm not going to lie and say the food was terrible because it wasn't. The food itself had great flavor. The country potatoes were a little soggy but the omelets had great flavor. My reason for only giving this gem 3 stars? Plain and simple... the cook. Neither of our omelets were done completely. It was clearly obvious that the whites were slimy on mine and the omelet itself was extremely runny. Not only did my boyfriends omelet have runny whites but the yolk was STILL runny. Our waitress (the sweet lady that greeted us) apologized and took them back to have them fully cooked. I'm assuming the cook didn't agree or doesn't like food being returned to her because it wasn't but few minutes later she came into the dining room to make sure and tell us that our food was NOT undercooked. I explained to her that BOTH omelets had severely runny whites and she tried to argue with me. Literally said I wasn't going to argue with her and she stormed off. We were NOT asking for our money back in any way at all. I had barely taken a few bites out of mine. ALL we wanted was the food to be cooked again. Not sure if I'll give this place another chance or not. Sad, too, because I was REALLY wanting to try out their lunch menu. Since when did it become a thing for the cook to come out to the restaurant floor and basically make a customer feel scolded for not wanting to eat undercooked food, especially eggs.
Wow. Extremely friendly staff and atmosphere. I’ve eaten here three times and each time I was impressed with the quality of the food and a highly professional staff. I plan on being a frequent customer.
