Mercedes & Family

Mercedes & Family restaurant is really the best Mexican food in Yakima. Their beans and rice are amazing, and everything else I've had there has been excellent. Carne asada, salsa, you name it, it's all fantastic!

Food is really good, but price is outrageous. $15 for 2 tacos rice and beans. Stand alone tacos are $5ea. The only reason to come here is for the tamales, which are the best deal at $1.50ea.

Unfortunately I think they are closed as calling and driving by last few days shows no cars/ lights and noone answers phone ? Great food, so hopefully they didn't shut down

This restaurant made my husband and i feel like we were eating with family. Super humble feelings all around and the food was sooo delicious 😋

I've been going to Mercedes since I was in high school. I graduated in 2005 😬, that is at least 15 years of my service. I've always loved the family feeling atmosphere. Great food, amazing portions and fantastic prices. I couldn't say anything bad about this place. I will continue to be a loyal customer as long as they are in business ❤️
