“When ever we're visiting in Yakima, Backwoods Café is our go-to place. The hostess knows and greets us, there's never a wait (we time it right), the coffee comes right away and the servings are generous. The bacon - and everything else - is done as requested...they're happy to change it up if you have any preferences or requests! There's ample parking, clean bathrooms, and very friendly staff. The decor is country comfort: bears, eagles, and a huge pine tree that's hit the ceiling now. The acoustics are good, too. “This cute little deli has good food. We came here for breakfast while we were in the Yakima Valley for of our anniversary. I had the breakfast burrito bowl and some of their creamy asparagus and rice soup. My husband had the bagel sandwich. Though not super high gourmet, both were good, and the place has cute decor. I especially love that it is owned and run by Christians (Taste and see is a reference to a verse in Psalms in the Bible).”

Being that they are in such a small building it creates such a long wait time for anyone in the drive through. I waited almost 30 minutes to get my 2 burritos last weekend.
