Elk River Hotel & Cafe by GlampOut Resorts

We stopped by on a cool rainy day and were welcomed into a beautiful and cozy dining area seated near a fire. We had the portabella burger with tomato bisque and the marina pasta. Both dishes were superb, nice sized portions and at the right price. I would highly recommend this cafe and inn to anyone traveling through the area.

Everything was wonderful. .
I had emailed ahead to confirm my husband would be able to watch the Steelers game. The response was immediate and very helpful to chose the perfect room.
We had dinner in the cafe. Food , service and atmosphere was outstanding.
The included breakfast was enough to have us come back.
I might never stay in a chain hotel again.

The Glamping Domes have a stellar view of the Elk River. While the location is in town, it’s still very private. The dome is tasteful decorated and comfortably furnished. Local trees of poplar, red oak and chestnut were used as shiplap and wall panels. It’s a fun experience in a peaceful setting with nice people caring for guests and the grounds.
Extra special was the morning rain falling on the canvas tent…..
A delicious breakfast and good coffee is included.

Upon entering the Cafe a warm atmosphere awaited, everything in its design felt warm and inviting. The small touches to the old building were not overdone, the character of the establishment was like greeting an old friend. The lady that greeted us was friendly and kind. she had an extensive knowledge of the menu and food preparations. Her knowledge was further evident in knowing the best meals for gluten free choices, a rarity in the small community. I personally had the trout dinner and was extremely pleased. Friendly, courteous and reasonably priced, I can not recommend this place enough. If you are passing through, or a resident, don't be afraid to give it a try. From what I seen they also have carry out as well.
