Loved it!! All around good experience. Most of the bad reviews talk about how it took a while for the food to come out but they need to understand, any business first starting out will struggle with getting everything out quickly as they are still learning!! They really care about their customers thoughts as well which is great! the staff was friendly and the food was super good and I can’t wait to go back!
Friends and I visited Teriyaki Madness, and I thought it wasn't bad. Many of the complaints brought up by other reviews are accurate, but I still enjoyed my visit well enough. However, I was struck by how gracious the owner was in accepting criticism from reviews on this app; the owner is absolutely a trooper, and I'm sure with time Teriyaki Madness will mature into an even better place than it is. I hope the owner isn't too discouraged by the rocky opening and continues to build the best restaurant they can, and I hope the people of West Virginia can support it. Good luck, and do your best!
I tried to visit on opening day but it was chaos, madness if you will, so I went back today on day 2 for lunch and had a good experience. It was still busy but nothing like the dinner rush the first day. The cashier was friendly and walked around asking to get things for dine in customers if needed in-between people walking through the door. We waited about 25 minutes for two regular sized chicken teriyaki bowls but it was worth it. Fresh ingredients that were fresh off the grill. The regular size bowl is a pretty big portion and I ended up having some leftovers to take home. The teriyaki sauce they use is really flavorful and enhanced the entire dish, and allegedly they make all their sauces in house.
I'm sure some people will write negative reviews out of the gate because of wait times or mistakes with orders but it's a brand new restaurant with brand new staff that is getting completely overwhelmed with business. Everyone around here should know how busy new places are and if you are impatient you should wait to visit but I guess people just need something to complain about. Personally, I'm looking forward to going back and trying additional menu items once it calms down a bit.
