My Time Restaurant & Spirits

We recently heard of My Time and decided we needed to try it, especially after hearing that they were featuring some of the classic dishes from the old Island Teriyaki menu.

We definitely had to order a few Yum Yum Balls, which were as excellent as ever. They tasted just like I remember, which is a great thing. I also ordered the My Time burger, and was impressed by the good amount of char on the burger without being overcooked, the cheese inside the meat was a nice touch, and the patty seemed to have some kind of red pepper flake or a spicy zing of some kind to it that was an excellent addition. My girlfriend got The Dude sandwich, and it was very tasty and well balanced, with a crispy but soft bun.

My Time is located in the old location of the Barnyard BBQ that was in Milton, so it is easy to find and right on the side of Route 60. There is a decent amount of parking to the side of the building, and while there isn't a ton of seating inside, there is a large outside area which would be great on a nice day.

I look forward to visiting again! Always nice to see a new place opening up in the area

This restaurant is coveniently located on US-60 in Milton, replacing the old Barnyard BBQ. It's decently close to the interstate exit. I called today to place an order & was quoted a 20-minute turnaround time. Once we arrived to pick up our food, it was only a few short minutes more to grab the order and pay.

The inside of the restaurant looks clean, up-to-date, and has plenty of table seating. Out back of the restaurant appeared to be an outdoor area, complete with heaters and a small stage for live music.

Our order today consisted of: 4 Yum Yum balls, 1 MyTime burger (side of mashed potatoes), 1 The Dude sandwich, 1 order of SQY fries, and a side of onion rings.
-If you miss Island Teriyaki like so many of us do, you'll be happy to know that the Yum Yum balls are still just as amazing as they always have been. It seemed like the same sauce & seasonings were used. Great texture, generous size. Perfect.
-While the MyTime burger seemed to be missing the bacon noted on the menu, it was still really awesome. The actual meat patty was very well-seasoned and the burger was served on a quality bun. Solid burger. Mashed potatoes were good.
-The Dude sandwich was delicious. The bun was very toasty (just a touch oily). The chicken was moist, sauce was delicious, and the slaw on top was an excellent addition. Loved this sandwich.
-Whenever I ordered The Dude, I was asked what I wanted as a side and I picked the onion rings. I didn't realize that they weren't included with the sandwich, so I was surprised to be charged separately for them. **BUT**, after trying the onion rings, I was TOTALLY ok with paying separate for them! The batter was solid and didn't crumble easy. It was solid and sturdy, with a very satisfying crunch. You can bite through the rings easily and you aren't fighting against any stringy, tough bits of onion. I will absolutely get these onion rings again! They were delicious.
-The fries were good - sturdy, medium thickness.

All in all, MyTime seems like a great new addition to the Milton area. With them offering both Island Teriyaki favorites and their own unique menu options, I'd recommend anyone stop in to try it out!
