My family has always done business at this store,my parents started shopping here years before I came along.

Step back in time and speak with friendly and kind Appalachian locals while you shop for staple grocery items and household essentials. Stock up on drinks and snacks before enjoying the Elk River Rail Trail by foot, horse, or bike. There is ample parking.

I love Nottingham's Store. I have been going there since I was born. My great grandfather Raymond Nottingham was one of the original owners. Now it is run by my Great Uncle James and his son Brian Nottingham. The store has been in operation for over a 100 years.
It is a unique place to shop. You can find a little bit of everything. They have the greatest selection of Christmas Candy at Christmas. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They are open six days a week 8-5.

Wonderful Christian family owned & operated Country store with needs of their community at the top of the list! I can remember going here with my parents as a child. As an adult with my own, I still enjoy stopping in & they always fix us up w whatever we're needing!They carry everything from produce, groceries, good old fashioned candy, & baby needs, to hunting supplies, fishing tackle & bait, dogs,cat,& livestock needs&feed, tobacco products, home repair, some heating & cooling products! I'm out of space to continue. It will surprise you with all they have to offer. Just stop in & see how much better good ole country service is than shopping in the big city! You be the judge! They also still have a functioning gas pump & free air for your tires if you just ask! I know you will not be disappointed!
