River Expeditions

Our family had such a good time at River Expeditions on our road trip.
Carlie and Jane were very personable and gave clear directions during zip lining while maintaining the fun.
Katie led our raft and made sure we enjoyed ourselves on our maiden white water rafting experience. Enjoyed all the rapids and the West Virginia surfing!

This was my first time rafting and I was beyond impressed. I am not the adventurous type and our raft guide Reed and ET made is so much fun. They explained everything and I felt very comfortable knowing they had our backs since this was my first time. We can’t wait to come back and see our new friends!!! Thanks so much👍🏼👍🏼🤗

White water rafting with this company was one of the best experiences I've ever had on a vacation. Reid hit the ball out of the park as our guide. He expertly tailored the ride to the dynamics of our group to make sure everyone had a great time. Camp location also has everything you need and a wide range of options for however rustic you do or don't want your stay to be.

One of the best experiences you could ever have. River expeditions far exceeded everything I hoped to do on this trip. I'll start with the campground first, the campground itself was beautiful, it's set back in the woods. Camp sites are nice and spaced out and they do have a shower house and bathroom on site which was a huge plus. If you have an RV or camper there are hook ups for electric and water. They have a bar, a gift shop, a small convenience store, a zip line, and a restaurant. My group and I had a blast and enjoyed every minute of our trip. Our white water trip was amazing. We did the lower new river section and without a doubt we weren't disappointed. Our guide was Clint and he was the best man for the job the knowledge he had about the river and the history of the area was awesome. We learned so much and made some new friends. We had a few in our group who were terrified with white water and the fact that we had Clint gave them peace of mind and they had a blast. We all agreed to come back again and tackle the upper gauley river next with our man Clint. Thank you for the great weekend and the unforgettable memories Clint and River Expeditions.
