I came into town to work for the weekend with my two kids. I walked in 2 minutes to close; I offered to leave when I realized it (or take it to go). The owner, family and server told us we were fine. That wasn’t the worse part. Right before we went to order, I realized I have no cash and a storm had gone through the town and knocked out all the WiFi, that meant no ATM, no credit or debit card. I told her I am so sorry to waste their time we cannot order we have no cash. They wouldn’t here of my kids and I going hungry and told me to order my food. I promised to come back and pay. We are quickly and boxed up what we didn’t. They fed us, waited on us and treated us so kind never knowing if they would get their money. My kids sat their in shock with the kindness these beautiful strangers showed us. We were able to go act across the street and get get cash. Bless you for showing such kindness in my family time of need.

We were on our way to Morgantown with two hungry kids and decided to not make the drive and find something local. There are not a lot of places to choose from so we ended up here. They have a very small dining area with maybe six or seven tables. The place was cozy and the staff were very friendly. The customers were even friendly! Getting our kids coloring books and crayons while the waitress went for our drinks. The kids had hotdogs and french fries while the old lady and I both had the rib special. Ribs, french fries, coleslaw and a roll. The homemade coleslaw was great and the homemade sauce for the ribs was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised with how tender and flavorful the ribs were. This place is definitely off the beaten path and in the smallest town I've ever seen but it was a good experience. The only complaint was from my son who didn't like the brand of chocolate milk they had, I'll have to agree since he is a chocolate milk connoisseur. If we are ever down this way again and looking for a place to grab a bite then we will definitely be back.

They have good food and I like the old country atmosphere. The waitress was very helpful in making my selection.

Can be a little hard to find and looks a little worn but that’s because it was an old skating rink. The owner talked to us and gave us a brief history. It was interesting. Waitress was great and friendly. Best part, the food was delicious! Pancakes tasted my grandma’s straight from the cast iron skillet. Hubby had the steak and cheese and said it was awesome with the perfect amount of everything on it. Next time we make it out this way we will definitely be back! Breakfast all day too.
