The Humble Tomato

Great, pleasent service. Reasonable prices and tasty meal.

We ended up in Lewisburg, WV, after a blinding rainstorm in the mountains on our way to the Outer Banks. We had a pleasant visit at the town's visitors center, then walked around looking for a place to eat. The Humble Tomato looked like a fun pizza place, so I tried it with my 2 granddaughters, 10 and 6. We chose indoor seating because it was so hot out, but it was almost as hot inside. We ordered their Tropical Punch for the girls. One order came out, but they ran out of orange juice for the 2nd one. They offered her a Shirley Temple and didn't charge us for it.

The older grandaughter got their chicken linguini alfredo and liked it. I split a margarita pizza with the 6 year old. It appeared that they were also running out of mozzarella. There was barely a little bit of cheese on each pizza slice. The crust was tasty. It took 40 minutes for our tood to arrive. They were busy but there were empty tables.

I don't know if we'll ever be back in this quaint little town, but we won't be going back to this restaurant if we do.

We had pizza. Spices were excellent. Service was very good.

This is a very pleasant place to visit. The food is excellent and the service was very quick and professional. I would highly recommend The Humble Tomato to anyone.

This place is really nice and the staff are very friendly. My only complaint is the prices. Went there for lunch and spaghetti with no salad and a piece of bread is 19 dollars for lunch. That is very pricey for locals who want to grab a quick good lunch. I also just overall think they should have a lunch menu reasonable price. Not a place i would consider for lunch on the regular????
